Units Scale

Steak Bites

  • 1 lb. New York strip steak, trimmed and cut into 1" cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, divided
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, divided
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp. (or more) finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400° Fahrenheit for 5 minutes to ensure it’s hot enough for the steak bites.
  2. Season and Cook Steak: In a large bowl, toss the steak cubes with Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and 2 teaspoons of the kosher salt. Arrange the steak in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 2 minutes. Flip the steak bites and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until they reach medium-rare, or your desired doneness. Transfer steak to a plate and keep warm.
  3. Prepare Garlic Butter: While the steak cooks, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small pot over medium heat. Stir in the finely chopped garlic and remaining 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt, cooking until fragrant and sizzling, about 1 minute. Add the remaining 6 tablespoons of butter and stir until melted, about 1 minute more. Remove from heat and mix in the fresh parsley.
  4. Serve: Drizzle half of the garlic butter over the steak bites. Garnish with additional parsley if desired, and serve the remaining garlic butter on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking.
  • Use fresh garlic and parsley for the best flavor in the butter sauce.
  • Adjust cooking time slightly if you prefer your steak bites more rare or well done.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.
  • Can be paired with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
